The return of old skool Timbo! Wooo track is CRAZY!!! Reminds me of old Timbo/Aaliyah joints! :D Nobody can hate on this tune whether u dislike SV2 or not!

Sickkkk!!!!! I agree Bilza!!!

I think Kiley Dean also sounds great on this one! The song reminds me of the Kiley Days.

that is NOT keri. :/ why can't people notice the difference with her voice and others?! i'm so sick of these fake labeled tracks :/ it's dope but i'm sad it ain't her. wtf.

and true Timbaland fans would know the diff with her voice, too. smh

I agree ^..this doesnt sound alot like Keri Hilson. Possibly Brandy, Kiley Dean or Tweet? Nonetheless it's one sick track!!!

epic said...

Not Keri, sounds like Kiley

Not sure if it's timbo, hard to tell

There's a sample in there for the sample heads, see if you can get it

It was a Brandy demo

I dunno this track ain't for me..sounds like a broke man's Sirens.

Definitely has elements of Björk's Joga.

Beat Club still existed in 2004. Up to which month, I don't know, but just putting that out there.

Pretty dope record. This definitely sounds like it would be for Brandy. The vocal delivery fits Brandy perfectly. I would of love to hear her on this record. The production feels old school Timbo. I love it. It's simple no doubt but combined with the vocals and its perfect...

Unknown said...

Oh forgot... Has a Aaliyah feel to it. Specially the vocals around 4:00-4:30... feels very Aaliyah-ish...

I hope candice and tim work together again for bran's next album!

Very nice!

Frederick said...

b-listed, you're getting ahead of yourself.

1) I hope Brandy HAS another album
2) If in fact she does, I hope Tim gets production duty for a couple tracks
3) And, I hope Candice Nelson can pen a couple tracks

Venture said...

This sounds very amateurish of a song/beat but I really dig Kiley Dean and D.O.E... but this ain't it.

Frederick...Brandy is all ready to start recording her new album just as Tim is finished with the SV2 promo. Tim will in fact be the main producer on her next album and she is being signed to his label MMG.

Frederick said...

Just like how Izza Kizza was supposed to be signed to MMG and have an album out on that label. Look at him: he left. And, Billy Blue, we haven't heard anything of him since that one post on the Thomas Crown Chronicles.

Brandy may have more star power, but luck, she does not. The industry likes to remind her that she got into a car accident and spoke too soon before finding out it wasn't really her fault... and that her brother made a sex tape that anyone can see on the Internet.

B-Listed said...

hmmm I honestly dont think ppl really care about the accident as that was what it was - An accident!

I believe in her and I know itll happen! Got to keep our hopes up! =D

Frederick said...

You're one of those Democrats, aren't you? "Hope"... bah, humbug!

[/sarcasm]

I went back and listened to Simple Girl man she is dope and Tim was so ahead of everybody he knew pop was going to pop off the way it has I wish Kiley could have gotten in on that I know he has changed several styles since then,he was so unpredictable in a good way, beat switches, drum patterns, flipping samples the reasons why alot of his fans are so critical of him.

here is the download link...i dunno why we dont post these in here anymore, but here it is

About Brandy... B-Listed, Brandy WAS ready to drop a new all-star cast produced album soon, she worked with Darkchild and Kalenna and was planning to work with Timbaland this time around.

BUT, she was dropped from Epic and lost all the songs!!! "Stupid In Love" produced by Ne-Yo & Stargate is now a Rihanna song and "Louboutins" Produced by The Dream & Tricky is now a J-Lo song, i.e.

Kenny said...

I've heard this sample somewhere, it's from a movie, recent one too, The name is on the tip of my tongue, it's from a dramatic movie...

BRAINSTORM!!!

Bilza said...

@Kenny I'm tryna get my head around which movie the sample was used for this beat. It might have come across a horror movie I watched because the sound is very dark.

@Venture How do u class an amateurish beat? Unless you actually produced a beat like this, ur in no position to say it is. Venture I respect ur opinon and ur a fine producer urself but if this is amateur level then I guess alot of these old skool timbo beats are amateur. lol

B-Listed said...

ED:

YEs I know...she lost all them lame ass flopgate sound...and she wasnt dropped...she wanted release cuz she wasnt feeling the support from Epic...She wants to work with timbaland and so does he...hes thinkin of signing her to his label MMG.

So she is still workin with Tim.

Damn i would love to know the sample for this track

It's catchy as hell

Big-A said...

this was meant for D.O.E.'s album as he told me

Frederick said...

I knew this wasn't no got damn Brandy demo... y'all have too much pride vested in her work, as if you didn't listen to her last album and all the boring leaks she's had recently.

And, like D.O.E. would use those type of lyrics on a song intended for anyone other than him or some other rapper... or anyone outside of Family Crew.
