I've been hearing lately about Timbaland and Danja not on good terms, nor are each others camps.

I think that Danja and Tim are themselves great talent. Yes Tim, as we know can do great on his own, and as can Danja.
But I don't want the reason that they do their separate things happen because of problems.
This is classic situation of a samurai getting trained by his master, and the last training is when the master and the samurai fight to the death. But that is done with honor.

Danja can survive without Tim look at Knock You Down for example Keri sold most of her albums off of that single alone! Danja is stepping out on his own he's out to prove something I have been following Danja ever since he got on, he will do fine on his own. The competition amongst the 2 will be interesting though. Tim and J-Roc sound okay to me, but Tim and Wizz Dumb working together, naahhhh, what Tim needs to do is link back up with either Hannon, King, or even Cory Bold!!!! Danja will continue to improve and quite honestly at the age of 27 I think he has proven a lot so far his resume will only grow from here on out

And he Timbo prolly won't co-produce with Wizz Dumb. He never did and I think he never (or rarely) will. But Timbo doesn't really need a co-producer. Most of his best songs were made by him and himself.
Danja's style is very cool. I like his crazy synths. But maybe too crazy and unique for the mainstream audience(?)
I guess it could be a similar situation with Tim & Danja like it was with Tim and Scott Storch.

@Fredrick, I think Mike Daddy is implying Danja's lawyer adviced him to do something, and it messed up the relationship between Tim and Danja. I guess we're all gonna wait for Mike Daddy or someone else to say more on that.
As for Diamonds, last I checked that was produced by Hannon. Someone said that on TCC.

This is bad news. Tim & Danja make classic stuff. I was hopeing for another album produced by them. Wizz isnt that great in my opinion. But i'll still hear what he's got in store. I really hope Tim n Danja work out any problems soon so they can go back n make more hits AND classics.
Mike Daddy just seems bitter. I would want a little seperation too if I was Danja. You can't make a name for yourself if your always associated with somebody else's work. Plus he was the one that executive produced Keri's album yet no credit was given to him. Check how many times Timothy Mosley pops up and than Nate Hills. He had a more hands on involvement in her project yet Polow and Tim got all the credit. Keri and Danja have more songs in their unreleased catalog than Keri and Tim.

I'm also shocked of this situation.....I've been following Tim from day one (jodeci era) till now and in my opinion the best collabo i've heard in tim's production style, is with Danja. Tim and Danja should talk this over, cause this is not fair to Danja. Danja helped Tim to produce 2 albums in Tim´s career, FUTURE SEX LOVE SOUND and LOOSE, until now that is the reason why Tim is still strong in the game from 2006. For a producer as Ryan Leslie is hard to compete with Tim if Tim keeps producing hits, but lately i´ve noticed that Tim didn´t produced any hits without Danja and I think this says enough

Did nobody enjoy the Timbaland/James Fauntleroy songs as much as I did! Y'all TRIPPIN'! And the Pussycat Dolls tracks were HOT. I bump "Magic" near daily now.
And as for Danja not having any classics, what do you call Justin Timberlake's album? Surely, "My Love" is an urban classic. The other songs might get swept under the rug, but they're still all hot to me.
I can't really judge songs/albums that are two years old, though. All the hype and excitement for the project gets lost in context. But, if it was 2007, I'd be defending the Duran Duran album like no other. Now that it's 2009, not so much. Especially after I've heard dissent from all sides regarding Red Carpet Massacre.

First off all, we don't know the whole story so I'm not even going to pretend to know what's going on between them, especially if we're basing this all on some random tweets. But IF it is true, it really really sucks. Both men have such creative minds and each one's work is good on their own, but when those two worked together the outcome was absolutely amazing. Obviously these two couldn't work together forever, you know? The shitty thing about this game is that it is a BUSINESS and that shit always seems to find a way to get between people... and this is one case where I wish it hadn't. But if they ever do work together again, it'll be that much more anticipated and that much more exciting. Until then, I'll have to let that be a thing of the past.. lets see what other creative individuals and teams are doing to create a new sound! Get on it folks!!

Don't be nasty, there are a million plus ways to put things without being nasty, and a million plus ways to be nasty. Lets not go with the latter.
To be honest, even though I used to be a heavy Danja stan, he stopped being the megaproducer with 5 hits out at the same time... and I was able to expand my musical interests over the past half-year or so. While doing that I was able to delve into Tim's older repertoire which included finally getting into more of Missy's seminal records, and Tim was just a beast on all of it!
So, I'll agree with jonneymendoza that the Danja-Tim collaboration won't be missed. The music that they did together isn't going anywhere, and neither of them is going to stop just because of this. No biggie. To be honest, though, I saw this coming when the two had their little tiff over the Britney Spears thing. Danja bit off more than he should have been chewing.
PS. you guys are messed up for not liking the Fauntleroy tracks. and those who do, you're alright!
PPS. Timbaland never had a period in his whole career where you could doubt his sound! even now in 2009, the Cornell album was solid, and his work recently wasn't all as bad as some fans made it to be. compare to other producers who bite themselves for inspiration and have the same sound over and over in every track: same drums, guitars, synths, sfx. Tim could pull one out with all the samples, if he wanted, but he's looking out for his financial stability right now. we all know samples have to be cleared, and Tim hasn't been the best at that.

@Nat: We don't know much, but from all the tweets of MikeDaddy I understand it like that. The lawyer of Danja gave him an advice and Danja took it. And somehow it messed up the chemistry and relationship to Tim's camp.

Nat, yes it seems that Danja's lawyer either indirectly or directly convinced Danja to do something, act on something, or to not do something or not act on something. Whatever this something was, it burned major bridges with Tim, Tim's close friends, and the people who help put Danja on.
Mike Evans uses the words "stepping stone" in reference of how Danja's lawyer has used Danja. Mike even goes on to down Danja's character with such lines as referring to useless spending. So this mess up seems very touchy, and these burned bridges are scorched.

Chad Hugo was doing Ashlee Simpson's album while Pharrell was most certainly working on either Madonna or something else. Lemme break it down for ya'll to get a better picture: David Ehrlich, Danja's lawyer, wasn't really the go-to-guy in the entertainment law before he linked up with Danja. That was most likely the time when all of Danja's contracts expired. His production deal with Timbo, his management deal, his publishing deal with Warner etc. It was David Ehrlich who orchestraded the new deal with Kobalt Publishing. It's a groundbreaking company. Those who are interested in the real music business, should learn more about it asap. Lemme just say this: it's mainly an administration deal and the publisher only gets about 10% for collecting Danja's money all over the world, while Warner-Chappell most likely took 50% from him if it was a regular deal. Sure Warner and other big companies like Universal, EMI play an more active role and open up more opportunities and help secure placements, whereas Danja and his team need to do more leg work now. But I think Danja trusts in his brand and is obviously still getting nice placements. So I think that deal paid of so far. His lawyer makes major dough with Danja now. He even helps administer his songs (and gets his percentages...) he most likely is also managing him full time since his law firm is more of a boutique company with small staff and small client list.
Of course there are always two sides to a story tho. I can totally understand Mike Daddy and his co-partners why they mad. They used to manage Danja. But I also can't blame Danja to try something. You gotta take major risks sometimes to win big.
Me as an artist or producer, I would never let a lawyer have so much influence over my business. They can and do fuck you up a lot of times. I dunno if this was smart what Danja did...time will tell...

Yep! People in life in general should always analyze and evaluate situations and choices swiftly but carefully. These things can hurt you and others whom are dear to you.
What would be more important to you? More money, or keeping in with the ones who moved you all along and await for a down the road, or current award? Thats up to you to decide. Me personally, due to my morals, and my keen sense of what is right, what is wrong, and my neutralism, I'd most likely choose the "right" decision. But that "right" to you is your own "right".

I can't say I blame Danja...I mean if you read or watch his interviews, he's a humble dude and always has been, so IDK why people are getting all "?!" about this. Just as a fan of Danja, I always thought he should step out of the shadow more, in all of his co-production w/ Tim, it was like he was flying wayyyy under the radar. The just-above average music listener still thinks it was all Timbo on the Timberlake and Furtado projects, and as a fan it's clear to me that Danja was responsible for a LARGE part of that sound. I really don't think those would have been hits without Danja's handz in the mix. Also, when you look at it, Danja really could have blown a lot more than he really has...he's had a couple bad breaks (single-wise) along the way. Britney Spears being GARBAGE at the VMAs, Chris Brown killing the Turntables single, and the horrible decision not to go w/ the "Migrate" single. Putting the $$$ side away (which is prob stupid), then I feel like it's definitely time for him to claim his own shine...he doesn't really need Timbo at this point, though Timbo's arrangement and drum skills are still tougher than his.
All in all, I feel like the part of Timbo's camp getting all salty are the ones being bitches. Danja's been more than grateful for Timbo putting him on, even though he's slyly asked in interview after interview what part he played in Timbo's new sound/success. If I'm in Danja's camp in anyway, the 10% publishing just makes the need to step out more than obvious.
You don't know the full story man, no need to call anyone bitches or anything out their name even if you knew the full story. There are other more intelligent ways to express emotions and views.

You can't help but compare Tim and the Neps when they both feature on the same CDs from Justified to Hard Candy. But, what you say is true. They both deserve credit for what they did themselves, and not to be constantly juxtaposed.
