I feel Danja gave him the edge for the sonics of his drums. Listen to shock value 1 against 2, you can hear the difference.

Really dope track!!! But i can see why i didn't end up on the album, sounds too much like miles away..
My only guess is that after the whole incident, Timbo dropped all tracks that involved Danja from his album. A real shame really. This track is great. Really miss the Timbo tracks of this quality.
You start to wonder what happens to crazy tracks like this!? Smacks any of the tracks on Hard Candy even though I am a fan of them. Would be ideal to get someone else on this track. Perhaps for Brandy on her upcoming album? If Madonna didn't use it, and if Timbo didn't feel it was right for his album, then who else can use it? A few too many of these Tim/Danja collabs have been shelved which is a great shame.

Listening to the beat closely, it sounds like the "Deliverance" guitars was sampled, the Drums and quirky sounds like the hook on "Drum Life" by Timbo. The rest can be credited to Danja. Real classic! Someone better find the instrumental!!
the end sounds like it has the same kind of melody as home (the little trills) and i fucking lvoe this! :)

Wow, though. Tim needs to take a few steps back sonically cause this murks the new work...my life is complete, now all I need to hear is "La La" - the coffee song, I think. Concept sounded nuts.

But! I must say this... how many times will the Deliverance progression be run to the ground? Its getting annoying.
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better than everything else coming from Tim right now. So much more musical. So much more passionate. Real shame...

This comes down on most of the tracks on SV2 like a sledge hammer...
It's a good beat, but it gets boring fairly quickly. Certainly not as good as everyone was hyping it up to be. And it still pales in comparison to most of the beats Pharrell made for her. Skateboard P straight up owned that album.
BTW - So glad I'm not the only one tired of hearing the recycled "Deliverance/Rehab/What Goes Around" formula.

definitely, man. I'm beginning to realize how much of timbaland's sound over the past few years was due to danja's influence. Ever since he stopped working with danja, tim's stuff has been lackluster by comparison.
