i actually enjoyed most of the album.am not saying i would listen to it again,but its a solid effort.
its just hard to connect with the artist if u cant understand them.
what i dont understand is why timbo didnt produce her whole album???
she does alot of background vocals for him.
the production on the album is good,but nothing new.
i thought timbo would come up with some new weird indian-pop-alternative rock sound to push the boundaries further.too bad he didnt even lend a vocal.
maybe in the future.
she did say that they made a song together and it might be on the re-release of SV2.
Amar is also releasing an english album i believe.
I agree with Moon1283. Whether I'll go back to listen to it I dont know. It's got a nice vibe if I need some time just to hear relaxing music.
If you know Indian music or Arabic music well and Timbo Indian style beats, you'll dig this album. The beats though dont have the same bounce as Timbo did in the past when he used Raje Shwari but I'll be interested to know the credits for this album?

i used to hate indian music,but timbo introduced us to what it could be if he played with it.most of timbo sounds and drum patterns are influenced by indian culture.listen to "inian flute" in under construction 2,or "(Oh No) What You Got" on justified,or "i tried"on afrodesiac,or recently on " What Goes Around.../...Comes Around Interlude" on FS/LS.how about "take me alive",which is one of my favourites on chris cornell's Scream.
its always amazing when u hear timbo play with other sounds.i hope he does an english album for Amar.
