James Fauntleroy - "Twisted"

Check out "Twisted" by James Fauntleroy. It's the demo version for the New Kids On The Block.

James Fauntleroy - "Twisted"

Okay, you just heard the demo version. And now listen to final version again with the New Kids On The Block:

New Kids On The Block - "Twisted"

Hear some differences? Yeah, huge defferences. Not in the lyrics, but that beat. It's totally different!!
It's probably the very first version that was done. But it's good that they changes it that much for the final one.

What do you think?

props to Frederick...

Update:
The beat was produced by Polow Da Don and was used for Ciara's "I Don't Remember" on her latest album Fantasy Ride.

props to Rocketman1000 for that info.

That demo creeps me out! It's so eerie and desolate. And, the fact that Fauntleroy stops singing after one verse makes it even scarier.

I was hoping that the demo version would be Fauntleroy singing over the Tim/J-Roc beat, but alas...

What I think happened was, NKOTB wanted Timbaland to produce something and they didn't have much time until the scheduled release date, so Polow sent Fauntleroy and the reference over to Tim and J-Roc for remixing. And, then Fauntleroy and Timbaland built that chemistry that carried over to the essential tracks "Believer", "Home", "Let's Do It" and "Who's the Loser Now?", among others.

Thanks for the props, and the Ciara track info. Polow made a creepy ass track!

so the first version with James was prod by Polow and the second by Timbaland?

I think the Final version production has a better feel for this track. Im glad they didn't use the demo production. Didn't fit the lyrics in my opinion...

The beat of the first is nice and atmospheric. Doesn't do well for the lyrics.

But, you know what I think?

I think Utada Hikaru should of been on that, and she should wrote her own lyrics for that track.

Secondly, NKOTB could of used the intro of the demo to intro into the final version, or for concert use... even though the lyric cadence is a little off.
