Obviously some are unforgiving because of the situation with Rihanna, he doesnt wanna be associated with the "Maniac" track. I think Tim aswell didn't have any other choice. If this was Timbo of 10-15 years ago, they'd be loving this track so why all the negativity?? Track is sikk! Like Morning After Dark, I'm betting people will end up liking this. Listen to all of SV2, you're gonna be eating ur words! lol
I haven't had reason to hate on too many tracks from SV2, but this one just doesn't go anywhere. What's it's point. What makes it unique? Even D.O.E. didn't deliver.
This song just proves how much better Keri sounds on tracks like "I Like" and how D.O.E. could do better on old gutta Timbaland tracks like "Peace" and "Hoe Man". Nigga used to make me laugh and bounce with him. Now they all just feel as though they've been crammed inside of a box. I know everyone on this track has potential, and it kills me that none of them is using it.
I have a feeling that most of these songs are going to feel prepackaged. as you can tell from the video, Tim came from an angle he felt the artists came from as well, instead of trying to break barriers. "What me and Justin have always done: party music, make people dance" even though he produced those "Cry Me a River" and "What Goes Around", not club songs. On this song, "Keri has an urban sound"... you see where i'm going

Im feeling this track. like how the hook explodes. I am curious as to who he would put on this record in place of Chris Brown. Plus i like how Timb took Michael Sembello's Maniac and made it urban. Overall i feel this track is pretty dope!!!!

ok words of advice - Never listen to a Timbo track without a good sound system or good headphones. It doesn't do the track justice.
