can i ask what the difference between "prod. by Timbaland & Jroc"
and
"prod. by Timbaland & Co-prod. by Jroc"
is???

Black Arrow said...

to be honest...I dunno.
Wrote it off the Booklet. On some tracks is written "Co-prod" and on some not lol

Lez Carmen said...

The track was done. After which someone else might do something extra, keys icing etc. Beef it up.

Did they have the deluxe 2 CD version? What's the difference?

Lez Carmen said...

P.S The other is, both individuals would have significant parts creatively, that was contributed to creating the track.

Black Arrow said...

@Lez Carmen: thanks for clearing that up.

@tony: nah, the deluxe will be released here on the 8th too.

and u guys know what's really weird?
That mysterious rapper on "Lose Control". He isn't credited...nowhere.

Don £ Blaze said...

I was told Polow did Meet me in the middle by himself...I guess Tim added an extra hihat or something lol. Thats a hit record right there!

J.Mizzle is one to look out for though!

Lez Carmen said...

@Don £ Blaze - Its funny but, even that would get you a production credit. LOL

Don £ Blaze said...

Yeah I guess thats the norm in the business :)

I got blasted at when I said I didn't think Tim did "Morning after dark" by himself. That person owes me a damn apology! *LOL* ;P

It's nice to see up and comer
Nikesha Briscoe of The Outsyders racking up some writing credits. I was wondering if she'd get some serious gigs after penning Britney's "Womanizer". Good to see she's on the grind.

i still think the anonymous rapper on Lose Control is either Too $hort or Andre 3000 or Big Boi lol

Frederick said...

I don't believe I'll be apologizing for that, J. I re-read my comment, sounded like I was on the fence about my opinion. I left plenty of room for interpretation.

Hard to imagine you still remember that.

Yall wonder why most of you was saying the intro was the best beat on the album? Look at the credits. lol
