Timbo Rip-Off: Volume 1

Check out our first installment of Timbo Rip-Off's! Starring T Plezya and Capo Decina!
Although we don't know whether this will be a truly released track, it surely rips off a classic Timbaland (and Danja) beat.

You ask what this is a rip-off of? Take a listen, you will know....

T. Plezya - Over Me (Can't Get) (Prod. By Capo Decina)

Theres nothin' wrong being influenced by ones production style but one should add their own touch to it. Upgrade the sound you enjoy. Tim is the first producer that made me interested in music production, due to his unique sound, so of course naturally I am influenced by him. This sounds like one JT's songs or Ice Box... but it sounds good. I'm not knockin it.

Timothy, I completely agree with welcoming influence but this is a straight up bite of My Love, with the arpeggiated dance synth in a similar style progression, with the deeper supporting synth and the exaaaact drum loop but with far worse drum sounds.

I didn't expect the bite to be THIS much of a bite!! damn.

wow...
My Love is like My favorite song... I wish they didn't take so much from it...or I'd dig this to. like the Bass line and the synth pattern... its sad...because its a waiste of their resources

Timbaland is the reason I illegally downloaded FL Studio lol and want to become a producer. He was that spark that my interest needed.

This "Timbo Rip-Off" series is a great idea!

This track is a total rip off.

When I first started producing, my first track was a recreation of "Bounce" off of "Shock Value"... and I failed miserably. I then proceeded to Alt Rock music, then sampling, then to composing.

Now I sound nothing like Timbaland, I'm confident to say that I have my own sound now.

But you know what? Yeah its highly wack this producer jacked Tim, but what if the artist told him he wanted a very similar beat to "My Love"? And all that producer seen in his eyes was $_$ lol

I would of told that artist, I don't think we should go down that direction.

Shame, shame, shame! Keep em coming!

Nice track not considering the bite. But oh my god...even the kick pattern is the exact same! Could have changed a couple beats, lol!

if this is a rip off consider every track on the radio a rip off of Timbo

I highly disagree, Scripted.

SPEECHLESS! I DONT THINK THEY WERE BEING SERIOUS WHEN THEY MADE THIS, MUST HAVE JUST BEEN A FUN PROJECT. Thats not a bite, thats a rip-off! LOL

When are you guys going to host a in honor of Tim segment?

Damn... Sounds like they took some midi files and tried to match em... Being influenced by Tim is supposed to make u want to build on your own sound, not straight bite off him... This sh_t sucks...

OLLDDDD! This track is actually good but Danja should sue haha. As good as this track sounds, they literally took the integral concept/part of the 'My Love' beat.

If they had kept the synths and switched the drums up, it would've sounded a lot less like a rip off.

This is an absolute train wreck. I am eager to know who produced this personally, so I can admit to him his lack of respect to a producer. If he made a profit over this track then damn.

Bad Artist's copy.
Good Artist's steal.

In this case.

Bad Producer's copy.
Good Producer's steal.

Polow Da Don copies, therefore he is a bad producer.

Tim, on the other hand, steals samples. (Do It from Furtado's Loose)

This track is awful, the drum choice shows a lot in this producers capabilities...
