The beat on the verse sounded different at the listening party. That version was better.
The fact that timbo is mumbling somewhat at the start suggests this is NOT mastered for sure.

For me so far 2 out 4 tracks leaked are hits. Perhaps the auto-tune on Ease of the Liquor is the downside but still bumping it on speakers, sounds crazy!

This is a good track. It could of been more explosive, and the percussion could of been spread more in the spectrum. I await to hear the full mastered version to pass full judgment.

lol Mastering does not fix mumbling. Mastering processing typically results in very subtle (to the general public) tonal and dynamic changes. That is it. Y'all are talking about the tracking or mixing being unfinished in this version. Personally, I'd guess this IS the final mix, and it probably has been mastered.
Anyway, this is a nice track. Nothing that really excites me or grabs me, and I can't really imagine it being a hit, but it's an improvement on some other tracks coming out lately. I really dig the Jim Beanz background vocals.

Alex... Mastering can't "FIX" mumbling, because mumbling isn't something that is "broken". Mastering can make the mumbling become more audible. So yes, it does help the general public understand it more.

But if this is the final mix, and if it is mastered... as a engineer... I must say... disappointing...

And I'm listening on a great system... and it does sound better live. LOL... this is a concert track right here... It will just sound better being in a crowd, the bass in your chest (weak though), and almost being forced to throw your hands up.
People still dont understand why Timbaland is in the music industry and will never ever die....I dont say this because im a fan...Im actually a fan because of what Timbaland does...Timbaland isnt there to melodise already popular sounds from other producers and make chart hits here and there....Timbaland is there because he is a CREATOR OF BEATS!!! He creates what other producers just take and fix and make hits...He(Timbaland) creates sounds...He is a beat manufacturer and thats why I respect him no matter what distance he goes off his normal productions, to create new sounds!!!

I think the fact that there isnt a proper outro to the track, is the biggest giveaway that this isnt mastered.

And, today, there was a 58% upsurge in Anonymous activity. But, what I've been realizing lately with all these new Tim leaks is that the dude is having beats end instead of fading them out. That's cool, but they could be more dramatic.
Thats why you can tell they aint mastered.
Remember the first leak of "Talk That Shit" with T-Pain? Remember how that ended? And then see how the Missy Elliott version ended. It faded out.
Not bad,not great. "Crazy Girl" will save the album.

Sorry, I meant the whole track doesnt fade out. In the first leak, the beat fades out but you're left with T-Pain's vocals.
The hook is very catchy, but the song isn't that great to me....And i'm really dissapointed that there's no Danja on SV2 but that is for another conversation.
This song just flows if that makes any sense lol but yeah nothing spectacular. Sometimes it seems like Timbo ain't really trying.

Well, the vocals don't mean much. That was most likely done intentionally.
As for fading being a signification of a track's mastered/unmastered state: a number of the songs on JT's album had a proper ending.
I like how Tim tries to make melodic sounds with his voice with the Auto Tune lol,I also like how they didn't add a melody to the verse, just shows how appealing their voices are and how talented they could be.
I think Justin And Tim collabs are when Tim makes his best works.
