Samples/Interpolations on Shock Value 2

Timbo is a beast, when it comes to sampling and/or interpolating. And of course, he sampled, interpolated and remixed on Shock Value 2.
Here are all the Shock Value 2 tracks with samples:


"Timothy Where You Been" with Jet:
If you're also one of the people who googled the band Jet, after you found out that they're on Shock Value 2, then I'm sure you know by now that they have a track called "Timothy".

I'm pretty sure y'all hear the similarities between Jet's "Timothy" and Timbo's "Timothy Where You Been". ;)


"The One I Love" with Keri Hilson & D.O.E.:
The melody on that track is obvious. Everyone should have heard it somewhere already. I'm talkin about "Popcorn" by Gershon Kingsley (created in 1969).

BUT...one thing...Timbaland is not giving credit on in the SV2 booklet that he used that sample. Can you already see all those youtube videos showing that Timbo "stole" the sample?
BUT what he DOES include on the credits is that the song contains elements of the song "Maniac" by Michael Sembello.


"Symphony" with Attitude, Bran' Nu & D.O.E.:
Now this track interpolates an old Hip Hop classic. Produced by Marley Marl, called "The Symphony" featuring Masta Ace, Craig G, Kool G Rap and Big Daddy Kane.



"Marchin On" with OneRepublic (Timbo Version):
A Remix of the track "Marching On" on OneRepublic's latest album Waking Up. Just as he had a Remix of a OneRepublic song ("Apologize") on Shock Value 1.



"Tomorrow In The Bottle" with Chad Kroeger & Sebastian:
As we already told you, "Tomorrow In The Bottle" is kind of a remix of Sebastian's song "Bottom Of The Bottle" (prod. by Wizz Dumb) off his up coming debut album Cruel Intentions.
The first verse is the same, on both tracks. And both tracks also have a whole different style. "Bottom Of The Bottle" is a slow and smooth Hip Hop song, whereas "Tomorrow In The Bottle" is a fast Hip Hop track with Rock elements.
