August 25 will mark 10 years since we lost Aaliyah, the rising star in a tragic plane crash in the Bahamas. She was just 22 years old when she passed. Had just begun making a name for herself in Hollywood and had already cemented her talent as a singer and dancer. In just a short time she touched our ears and hearts with her angelic smile and soulful voice and we'll be celebrating her life and music for the next 25 days.

You will find exclusive photos, celebrity quotes, featured music and more in her memory leading up to the commemorative Aaliyah: One In A Million special airing on BET Thursday, August 25 at 8P/7C.

The special will feature commentary from Missy Elliott, Timbaland, Damon Dash, Nadine Ellis, Patti Labelle, Kelly Rowland and more.

Missy Elliott surprised us with some nice info a couple of days ago. Some of you might already know that VH1 is shooting an epsiode of 'Behind The Music' about her.

So, Missy was in Miami last weekend to work with Timbaland on Shock Value 3 at The Hit Factory. And Vh1 was there too, taping the whole session for Missy's 'Behind The Music' episode!!! How sick is this?? We're finally going to get a "Timbo working in the studio" video again...with Missy Elliott!!
One word: Awesome!!

Keri Hilson at the 'Today Show'

Here is an inteview with Keri Hilson. She talks about the sound of her upcoming album, which she describes as (just as Timbo describes his new sounds) 'organic'. And she also says who she is working with for that project (Timbo, Polow, Danja).

Timbo's & OneRepublic's "Marchin' On" used in German TV

Like I told you, the track "Marchin' On" by Timbaland & OneRepublic was used by the German television channel ZDF during the "Pictures Of The Day"....or in the case of the video below, the "Pictures Of The Worldcup".

VH1 Hip Hop Honors 2010

Well, yesterday night, the VH1 Hip Hop Honors 2010 took place in New York and we already got a couple of photos and performances from the show on the VH1 website!!
It will air on monday June 7 at 9 PM ET/PT.

"Marchin' On" is now the official FIFA World Cup 2010 song for the German television program ZDF!!
The track will be played at the end of every day while showing the pictures & scenes of the day...and probably more...

Timbaland cameo in FlashForward

Check out Timbaland's performance in the popular TV show "FlashForward" as the Evidence Agent!
It's episode 13 of the first season. The episode is called "Blowback":

As reported earlier on different sites, Timbaland is making his prime time television acting debut on the popular TV show FlashForward.
Timbo will have a cameo on the next weeks episode (March, 25th) called "Blowback".

Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business

I know, I know. This has been out for quiet some time already and sorry for not postin it up until now. But maybe some of you haven't heard it yet.

"In their new 11, one-hour episode series, both Brandy and Ray J will expand their roles in the family business. Brandy will step back into the music scene and team up with famous producer Timbaland for a new album all the while raising her seven year-old daughter Sy’rai. We’ll also see Ray J stepping out of his notorious bad boy image and collaborating with Rodney Jerkins and other popular R&B heavyweights. Father, Willie will continue to sing and coach his famous children while being the original voice of reason. And the matriarch of the family, Sonja, will strive to keep her famous family on the right track, while passing the family business down to her two superstar children.

"If We Ever Meet Again" is also the most added song to Top 40 charts on the radio this week.

Timbaland to host WWE RAW

Remember the music video of "Throw It On Me" featuring The Hives? The girls fighting in the ring?
As you know (or not), these girls where part of the wrestling show WWE RAW.
And now Timbo is back, teaming up with the WWE RAW people again!!

Since June 29th, 2009, each episode features another guest host, from the wrestling star Batista to Shaquille O'Neil or Snoop Dogg.
And guess who will be the host on the final 2009 episode on december 28th: TIMBALAND!!

The guest host, in this case, Timbaland, is responsible for the running of the whole show and he is also really involved in the making of it.
Let's see what Timbo the king comes up with!! ;)
